This may not be the case, but certainly in my experience either being a sender or a recipient, HDNL or Yodel, the courier service Mothercare use can be somewhat unreliable.

Once the goods have left Mothercare, they are relying on the courier company to get the delivery to you. It is somewhat out of their hands once it has been collected by the courier company.

I understand your frustration as I too am annoyed about a delivery but it isn't as simple as you place an order from Mothercare and they use their Mothercare owned courier service.

Granted, some of the staff are a bit dizzy, but you will find this in most large companies. If you are unhappy with the person you spoke to, try speaking to someone else.

The number I contact Mothercare on is: 01923 210 210 then when prompted, press 2 and then 1. If you haven't been already, try this number. It's either free (phone tarrif dependent) or substantially cheaper to call than the premium number they advertise which can sometimes be an added frustration.

Had my nappys delivered yesterday along with another order for sleeping bags, The money wasn't shown as coming out of my bank but my balance was showing less than it was because it hadn't processed yet, I checked my bank this morning and NO money has been taken for either order and my balance isn't showing deductions now either? Does this mean i'm not getting charged for them? Anyone else had this?

My payments have been taken this morning so fingers crossed for delivery today. I'm not staying in and missing out on Tesco glitches and finding these don't arrive!

I have had this before with mothercare, they took it a week later. Apparently it can take up to 90 days for a company to take their money from you, so when you assume somethings gone out, you should always check . HTH

When I ordered the trunkinis I got the order last week but the payment wasn't taken out until yesterday. This has happened whenever I've ordered through Mothercare.

Got my nappies this morning!!
Came in a huge box, delivery man asked what it was - always seem to get the same man so know him by now cos of all the previous glitches, I get a lot of parcels!
I explained to him I got over 500 nappies for £27.
He said he would have to tell his OH, however I told him it's too late now as glitch has finished.
