In another of your posts you talk about how you've given up your kids and don't want any contact with them and never want them to contact you. You have to wonder why someon would think you'd be ideal to provide advice on their kids.0 -

Often when one has nothing constructive to contribute, sense and maturity would suggest say nothing0 -

You are correct to raise the question (The story of a certain Prime Minister's Mum springs to mind), also where is Dad in all of this episode? It does sound like the girl has told the Mum this 'fabricated' story to wind her up, at the same time there is a possibility it could be true, also on the prositute thing, there are many women that sell sex, they won't advertise on a T shirt, as someone also mentioned she could have a recreational habit that is expensive.0 -

Have you ever thought my new friends know nothing about my past, as I am trying to put it behind me and move on?0 -

Your friend can only advise her towards the obvious strict/long term contraception inc condoms and regular STI checks if needs be.
I would normally wholeheartedly agree with this. However, in this instance it appears the parents are funding the girls life at Cambridge so IMO it gives them a little more leverage. Although their options are really fund it or dont but I do think this could be used to have some conversations about what they expect while they fund her through Uni.
I dont think the girl is happy - cant think of any other rational explanation - and I think that needs looked at.Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0 -
