and youve told everyone else. what a lucky, lucky girl. mother tells her 'good friend' something and then said 'good friend' goes and tells the whole world!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I guess it's not impossible for someone to have had six abortions between the ages of 15 and 18 but it sounds a bit far-fetched..
It's hard to gauge just from reading your posts on here what's happening between the daughter and her mother. If she's at Cambridge she's obviously a bright girl. She's either said it to shock/get attention, or she's got a few problems, if you ask me!!0 -

Why? because I have mental health problems?0 -
Surely this cant be true? Would Docs really do 6 abortions for one person? If this is the case then I imagine the girl has had a few stern lectures as I am quite sure all the relevant healthcare professionals would not agree with this repeated scenario.
I think the mum and daughter should have a chat about life in general. I cant help but wonder why she is 'allowing' herself to get pregnant to know she will abort. I find it difficult to comprehend that someone would not care about having a chemical or surgical termination.... I dont think the teenager can be happy and that would be my first concern. Maybe she needs some professional help? My daughter had anxiety issues in her first year of Uni and saw both her GP and a Psychiatrist/Psychologist... whichever it was and is now much more settled and happy.Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0 -
I can understand why your friend would be upset to be told something like that in an argument with her daughter OP - be a shoulder for your friend. I'd also say that, whether its true or not, her daughter might benefit from getting counselling. She sounds like one mixed up young lady.0

I don't know the law regarding this, but before age 16 wouldn't the girl's GP have to notify the parents if the girl was having any kind of abortion?0 -

Multiple abortions though do happen, in 2008 for instance records show that more than 40 women had had 8 abortions!! Saying that this girl if telling the truth and even if not obviously needs help.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -
