if you cant take others opinions without being sarcastic or nasty, then maybe you dont belong in the UK where free will and speech is allowed.

Yes I am using them in my replies, you don't like it - you leave. opinions are like ringpieces everybody has got one.

Here's a shocking truth about this thread.....

You could replace "cyclist" with black and this thread wouldn't be out of place 200+ years ago.... It's all about the justfication of hatred toward a minority, WHO are deemed to be less important and who should apparently have less rights (and shouldn't be allowed to overtake those of a higher social class who drive cars).

Just reminded me about a nightmare of a road we have locally (at peak time). I was cycling up the cycle path and was merrily passing the queing traffic when a Porsche driver saw me and pulled over to the left to block me! I got off my bike, walked round him on the path, got back onto the road and carried on. Wish I could have seen his face, I left the junction long before the line of cars moved very far!

No its not ok to step in front of them, but what gives them the right to run red lights? My old neighbour was a cyclist but he always obeyed the rules of the road. I saw a cyclist die a couple of months ago, because he raced out in front of a truck. He was laying dead in the road. So before you jump red lights think of your family.

So what gives motorists the right to jump red lights - WHICH THEY DO!
What gives motorists the right to drive across pedestrian crossings when someone is trying to cross - WHICH THEY DO!
What gives motorists the right to text when they are driving - WHICH THEY DO!

There are good cyclists and bad cyclists, the same as there are good and bad motorists.
A lot of cyclists are insured.
There are many motorists driving around without tax and insurance and licences.
