Just the usual misleading rubbish from Roxbourgh. I like the bit where they say that anyone "with a financial interest" in the vehicle is liable for this charge. I wonder what a finance company would say about that piece of nonsense? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I would send the bottom bit back listing Liz as the driver and giving the number as 020 7930 4832.
Assuming there is nothing which can ID it back to you, and forget to put a stamp on the letter. See if they are stupid enough to fall for it.0 -

The important thing that the hive-minds at Roxborg fail to tell you is that this so-called term and condition flies in the face of established law and seeks to set aside the age-old legal concept of privity of contract - in other words, only those party to a contract can be held to its terms.
Of course, if they did tell you that they'd have no grounds whatsoever to pursue the debt. But seeing as they almost certainly have not purchased it or been otherwise assigned it by IGS they are whistling in the dark anyway.
The IGS web offering is as dire a PPC website as I've seen for some while with the possible exception of this one - http://www.14services.com/ - FWIW - to gain an insight into the quality of their Parking Enforcement I thoroughly recommend looking through the Gallery. Its absolutely priceless, I promise. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

You're not joking even the poor dog looks bl00dy depressed!!
Love this quote, the kennel must be cosy!!
Our handlers live with their dogs which in our opinion forms a more secure & meaningful working relationship.
How on earth would someone enquire about their services if the came across that website?0 -
:rotfl::rotfl: Dire doesn't come into it perhaps the council should have looked here when planning the evictions from Dale farm (NOT) http://www.14services.com/Evictions.html
It shows how unprofessional these money hungry PPCs are
OP is more likely to win the lottery than go to court0 -

If you look on the side of their van you will see a sign (inside black and yellow borders) which says "Operational Support Vehicle". They wouldn't be trying to copy a police vehicle would they? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
From the 14 services website;A Parking Charge Notice issued by a Private Parking Enforcement Agency such as ourself is a legally enforceable charge that is issued for unauthorised parking on private land areas.
Er, not it's not.Should a Parking Charge Notice that is issued by ourselves NOT be paid then we are LEGALLY empowered to request from DVLA full details in relation to the registered keeper of the vehicle in question.
And the Registered Keeper is LEGALLY allowed to tell you where to go stuff it.
Funny they neglected to mention those two (at least) key points isn't it?0 -
Hi,
I have just received my first phone call from Roxburge who are trying to get in touch with me regarding the parking fine. I first received a letter just over a week ago which is in this thread which I sent back to them in the post with fraud written all over the envelope. and now they trying to call me. I wasn't at home but my brother answered the phone call saying there is no person present.
Should I be worried about these phone calls?0 -
No don't be worried, and they are not FINES.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
-
The phone calls are just a nuisance, if you want a bit of fun every time they ring just say I will get them, then leave the phone off the hook for 10mins while you have a cup of tea!0
