Hi everyone,
So frustrating on the forums last night!
Went to TK Maxx and spent a fortune but did get a new thick duvet I'd been looking for, Sanderson reduced from £100 to £35. Also a silk cushion some candles, a couple of Christmas tree baubles, a shirt for DS and 8 pasta bowls for DS and DD between them (both have been requesting them).
As reported on the flylady thread when I got home from work DH had done the chores on my list for me to do that evening so I had a quiet night. Won't happen today though because he's gone back to work so my list is all my own.

Well i have got loads done so far today.
Had blized all the downstairs by the time i had to pick up dd from nursery, i have now prepared spag bog with hm cheesy garlic bread for tea, and hoovered all the kids beds and changed the bedding, only 2 bedrooms to go and the bathroom and iv top to bottomed!!!
This stopping smoking makes my house cleaner then ever, just trying to keep busy!!LOL.
I have managed to get 2 more items on ebay too, and i have just received a cheque from royal mail as the postman smashed my letterbox last week and i phoned to complain. It is only £9 but £9 is £9 !!LOL.
Have a great afternoon all.

Anyway straight from work too kids to the "delightful slimming & healthy" McDonalds!!:rotfl: then off to see HAPPY FEET - was good but its one that could have waited till it was on dvd! and DH fell asleep!!!!! had to laugh when I had to get DD to give him a tap to wake up!:rotfl: We took some sweets & drinks with us as I hate paying cinema prices!! £3.50 for popcorn!!!????!!!!! and that was the small one!
and yes bargainrzl - I did manage to see some of Colin last nite on TV - only after kids watched Dr Who!:D had to laugh at colin's singing though!

Pink-winged wrote:PP, I'd love to come too, but as Snowy are planning to come over on the 10th to see Aussielass I don't think it will be possible. I hope you all have a lovely lunch.

bargainrzl - are you coming to the PP mini meet? its a shame that PP is not in london at the same time as aussielass.0 -
Shez... we have got the 10th Feb (evening) as a definite date for meeting up with Aussie in London... venue not yet finalised but I said I'd sort that out. Pleeeeeeze come
Also I have PM'd PenPen back about lunch on the 7th. I would really like to do both and don't see any reason why I shouldn't
LOL at the idea of your new avvy making the site crash :rotfl: I must admit my heart skipped a beat when I saw it, so perhaps MSE had a full blown coronary :rotfl:Operation Get in Shape

Hiya
First day back at school for DS and w**k for me. Got up early but still somehow managed to be running out the door at the last minute.
Congratulations to those who are losing weight, giving up the dreaded weed, have good news to celebrate (especially Tilly Grace, JackieO).
((((Lisa)))) hope you start to feel better soon.
I received some books today that I had ordered in the Book People sale before Christmas. I ordered five books for my nieces and nephews birthdays/Christmas this year. Total price - £8. The books that I got today are beautiful (especially the Skating with Bears one) and are priced at £9.99, £10.99 and £10.99!! I even got a voucher code from Rpoints to get the free delivery. :j I am well chuffed.
Like one or two of you, I feel as though things are getting slightly beyond my control at the mo, so this weekend I intend to get some major clearing out done and then get myself organised, financially as well as otherwise. The shredder will be smoking by the time I am done.
How on earth did I miss Colin Firth last night??? What was he in?? Is it repeated. SOMEONE TELL ME, PLEASE!"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

anniebooklover - Colin Firth was in the made-for-TV film of The Importance of Being Earnest, with Judi Dench, Reese Witherspoon & Rupert Everett - it was originally shown on Christmas Day 2005 but repeated yesterday on BBC2
