    Morning everyone :)

(((Lisa))) I really hope everything works out for you.

JackieO - that is fantastic news about Tilly Grace (beautiful name btw)

Crazychik - good luck to your ds at the hospital today. I watched BB too, I definitely like Jo the best.

Ds is back to school today. He didn't want to go back but was straight back to nattering away with all of his friends when we go to they playground and seemed fine. I do worry about him but I do love his school though and all of the other parents are lovely.

I'm feeling very edgy today. There is so much going on in my head. This is going to be a very "messy" year for us as we couldn't be more in limbo if we tried. Oh started his new job yesterday and says how hard it is going to be and will have to do loads of extra (unpaid) work if he is going to stay there. He stayed in London last night and is there again tonight as he has loads to do, I really hate what he does for a living.

I did have a good day yesterday though. I set up a spreadsheet so I can keep a spending diary and filled it in. I've had all no spend days this month bar one day and I hope that the money in my purse (i.e not much) will keep me going until mid next week. I wrote down all of the "extra's" we paid for last year and it was a real eye opener as to what we spend money on.

The house needs a good hoover although I was good and did clean the kitchen before school so that is one less thing to do. Just me tonight so it is a bottle of wine and some meatballs found in the bottom of the freezer tonight. I'm looking forwards to watching BB again.

Have a good rest of the day everyone:) and hugs to all that need or want one.
  • Good morning all! :hello:

Looks like another dead day at the office and boss isn't coming in again so I can get some more of my book read. I've changed my hours slightly so I can leave at 4.30 but I get a shorter lunch which means I haven't got time for my walk. So as I get here 1/2 hour early most days I've decided to walk then rather than sit and vegetate - it was really nice this morning as it was sunny.

Valentinex Hope the scan goes OK - I'm envious! So desparately broody but can't do anything about it for a couple of months. :(

Today's challenge is to fine and sign up to an NHS dentist - I haven't been since 1998  :o

Hope everyone has a lovely day. :)

    Hello everyone

I didn't get on site till late yesterday and reading thru the daily thread a lot semed to be having a bad day, so I posted about mine, overslept on 1st day back at school :o , took DD after nursery for new school shoes working on theory it would be quiet as kids back at school, only to find half the town had teacher training days yesterday and the shop was packed  and then DS swimming lesson, where his instructor also seemed to be having a bad day by how much she was going on at the kids. Just as I hit submit reply I got the forum is closed for maintainance message  :D

So hope everyone is having a better day today  . Mine hasn't got off to a wonderful start, DS has gone to school in old scruffy shoes cos we couldn't find where he took one of his off last night  . I've nagged at kids about being tidier and pointed to a mess they made last night, and 3yo DD has offered to clear it up after nursery :T let's see if she sticks to her promise.:D

    Good morning

I managed to get a couple of pairs of trousers in the Next sale yesterday, one pair reduced from £25 to £12 and the other reduced from £36 to £15. So, was pleased with that. However, the sales in general were rubbish.

I plan to tidy up the house this morning, the house looks so bare now that the decos are down. Go shopping a bit later on. I start my grocery challenge today. I have a few hours overtime at work tonight, which the money is going straight to pay of the credit card bill I made up over xmas.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Morning All

Havent had chance to read yet so ((hugs)) to anybody who needs them.

First loaf of bread from the BM was delish last night, much better than my old one produced. Going to start another one for the freezer in a minute. Have a list of stuff to do again so will get cracking in a minute. Having a batch cook this afternoon as the freezer is looking rather empty. Need to go to Aldi before then to get afew bits. Off to post on the Fly lady thread now if the site will let me.

    Have a good day everyone

PS. DH was reading the thread yesterday for the first time, pretty sure he thinks were mad. So if your reading this Leon, Hello its Macarroni cheese for tea :p

"Theres one to tell your os friends, you hubby created a filling!!!!"
So he does take notice even if he makes out he isnt bothered !!LOL

Morning all. Just got up and wish I hadn't bothered. DH in a foul mood and has been shouting at anything that moves. Now he's gone off in a huff (taken the dogs for a walk) because I complained to him that I was trying to have a lie in. He probably won't speak to me for the rest of the day.

Got a letter from the bank today to say that there was insufficient funds to pay my payplan. I knew it was going to be tight but I thought I would just make it. To top it all they charged me £35 for letting me know. I got that really sick feeling again, the one I used to get before I was dealing with my finances. I'll need to look at the finances and see how I can sort this out.

Ah well - onward and upward.

    Hi

Just read your message Lelc, the last time that I was given a charge at the bank I just phoned them and told them it was my mistake that I was overdrawn and they refunded the charge easily enough. I dont know if all banks do it this easily or not (it was Bank of Scotland).

    Hope this helps.

Thanks md123. I'm gearing myself up to give them a call. I also need to speak to Payplan and see if they'll accept a reduced payment this month.

Well one thing I do know is that sitting here in my dressing gown isn't going to help - so off I go.
