    Good morning Chums ,
I hope everyone is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning.Well the holidays are over and things hopefully will start getting back to 'normal' again. :j Diets come out, and the deckies come down. I am definitly shopping from my cupboards for this month as I may be going to the U.S.later on this year so I am into serious saving of pennies.:j
Good news fingers crossed about our little Tilly Grace, she has hopefully turned the corner, and the Doctors are looking more cheerful.
She is taking up to 8ozs of milk a day, and is now pushing the scales at a smidge under 4lbs.Her long line has been taken out and although she is still in Skibo she is out of her 'bubble cot' and has been moved into the 'warm room' which is apparently good.I am off to see her Grandma this week-end, and shall get to see some photos as well. The Doctors are amazed at how she is such a little fighter ,she overcame several infections in the John Radcliffe hospital, and she is their little miracle baby. She will be 7 weeks tommorow, and each day she is getting stronger. It seems God and the wonderful Doctors have done well ,touch wood.
I am in the mood for some early spring cleaning today as the house looks so drab once the decorations have come down. I don't go back to college until next week, so I have been reading rubbishy detective books over the holidays .Must get down to some serious reading before the week-end though.
Hope everyone is feeling as bright as I am today, the weather is still quite warm, and I may get my wash out later on. I had a go at my DD Christmas tablecloths as they had got some candle wax spilt on them and fingers crossed the idea with a warm iron and paper towels seems to have done the trick. She will be impresed with her old Mum and her OS ways I think.
(((Hugs))) to those in need, and take care all.

JackieO - so glad to hear about Tilly Grace, i look after a little one who was born at 28 weeks, and she will be 4 in a couple of weeks, so it is wondeful what doctors can do these days!!! Also, although little one was born so early, she hasnt suffered developement wise either, which hopefully is a comforting thought. The only way you know about her poorly start to life is some scaring on her hands from all the tubes, and even these are fading now!!!! I hope you enjoy your visit with her at the weekend.

Good Morning everyone! I hope you are all having a successful "back to school" week. My two are still in France so we will have all the rushing around to get used to again next week!

I have not ventured far out of the house for the last few days, since the family have been away - have rather liked being a home bird and as I work from home too it has been quite nice. However, the time has come where I cannot put things off any longer - I have to do the paying in at the bank, go and take some bits back to a shop etc etc.

Plus, need to get a loaf in the BM, a huge chili in the slow cooker, and do my flylady things inbetween clients.

I hope everyone who has been suffering from various bugs and viruses are starting to feel better - they have been lingering for a while now (the bugs not the people!)

    Have a good day x

yesterday hit the sales - but only snapped up a few bargains. dressy jumper from evans £10 (love popping in there...I am a big girl on top but in there their sizings are so generous I only need a 16 or 18. in shops like dorothy perkins etc I sometimes need to go to a 20/22 to get things to fit across the bust.)
black leather shoes reduced from £30 to £12. ms dogrose got a few things too but overall quite disappointed.
last night we did a family trip out to pizza hut. not that OS but a treat for us as we dont get many chances to go out as a family due to shift patterns etc. did their meal deal for 4 which works out not too bad. and we brought the leftovers home for later ;)

today must get stuck in to studying. the weather looks really stormy so looks like its not a good day to go out anyway.

    Morning all.

Not a good night again last night. Still worrying about the finances. Silly really as even on a low month we have managed to pay all the bills. But I have had to move some money back over from the savings account to do it and I am really upset at having to do this as there's not a lot left in there now. I am going to go through all the debts today and work out how to pay them off faster.

I managed to sleep from 1am to 7am though so that is not as bad as yesterday. Just got to get DD off to school and I can get started on FL. I wish the binmen weren't having such a long holiday as I don't feel that I can get rid of any more rubbish until they have been. They've put strict restriction on how much they will take even though it will be over two weeks since they last came and it's been christmas and new year in between that. I may have to take a trip down the tip today.

:hello: Gooooooood Morning fellow OS'ers :D:D:D

    N9eav :T :T Happy for you!!! :D Great bargains (:rotfl: @ the knickers ;) )

    Well done, Aimee :T :T :D

Good luck at the hospital PP.

Need to make an inventory of the freezer and pantry today so I can make up a menu plan to use up all that is lurking rather than spend any pennies. Took out some turkey thigh and chicken livers last night and I'll be making a casserole with that today and the stray slice of bacon lurking in the depths of the fridge. Won't use the SC though because the oven will heat up the kitchen nicely and I want to make a 12th Night Cake (thanks thriftlady :D )

Bit tired this morning, stayed up to see the results of "Just the Two of Us" last night ... how much fun is it watching Jim :rotfl: Love him to pieces!! Boys also wanted to know who the celebs were for BB as all their peers will be discussing it over the next 25days at school  Notice how the Jackson family are resurfacing? Tito on Just The Two Of Us and Jermaine on BB :rotfl:

Catelogued all the gifts I'd bought in the sales yesterday afternoon before tucking them away in the Gift Cupboard so feel rather proud of myself on that front. Drawn up a list of the projects I'd like to make for adding to the gift cupboard too, but much of that depends on how much time I can dedicate to it throughout the year.

Wishing you all a thrifty Thursday, ((hugs)) for the needy/wanty's :D:D

Good Morning All - Hope We are well

Got woken up this morning by the dog barking, at 6.25am, by the local paper being delivered. I wouldn't have minded, but when its only 4pages thick - why bother! Think that might be a phone call of complaint - Postpeople are not allowed to deliver before 7am, so why are they different? Groan Over - sorry

Managed to get the hall/kitchen swept & mopped last night, front room hoovered & dusted, cooker cleaned. Ive seen the light now with Stardrops, think I used too much for the floors, as the bucket was full of suds. Ooops

DS at the Childrens Hospital for his check up ref his gum fallen later today. He's been complaining its hurting. And he now says he can feel a small hole, I just hope the bone implant hasn't come away like it was suggested from the hospital! Finger's crossed.

Did anyone watch Celeb Big Brother? Cant believe "FACE" is in it, from the A-TEAM, how funny will that be. Jermaine Jackson - wow. And I dont reckon much to that Donny Torrettes Bloke - he will cause a stir I think with his attitude.

Anyway, best be off and get showered before the school run, work in a bit, but at least I get to finish early.

Will catch up later upon my return from Birmingham
    Have a good day all
    Take care
    Love as usual
