  • Morning all! We're all up bright and early as it's back to w*** and school. Not too happy about that, but it'll be fine once we're off.

Children made a cake for DH's birthday yesterday (he didn't get one from his mum). Discovered that the (unlabelled) packet that I thought was ginger was cumin   Luckily I realised before we added it to the cake. Children off to corner shop to buy a fancy jar of the stuff  Not very MS, but he's worth it :D So, I need to do a big shop later (we have no milk, either).

I'm coming to London for the day on 7th Feb, and meeting Shez for lunch. Anyone else fancy coming? PM one of us if you're available.

No avataars this morning  Is this connected with the probs on the site yesterday

Have a great day, Penny. x

    'Morning everyone :hello:

Had a lovely trip to the coast yesterday - the cobwebs are well and truely blown away :D

Today is a trip into town with youngest DD before she goes back to Uni. We will be rummaging in the sales and treating ourselves to a fancy coffee :D Then home again for HM pizza. OH is staying at home - he hates the shops - and is going to potter in his shed doing some maintenance work on the lawnmower ready for the spring.

Have a lovely OS day everyone!
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

    Good morning everyone,

After a few days at home, we are actually going to venture out today, going to go down to Trago Mills in Liskeard, im hoping to get some new cushions for my front room and have a small list of things i need to get - hopefully i will stick to it. The prob with TMs is there are normally lots of cheap things, so very tempting!!!!
DD has a birthday party to go to this afternoon, so DS and i will go out for dinner, and pop into Tescos for a few bits as well before collecting her. Again, ive been making a list and im determind to stick to it when we go - my prob is that i love shopping (even food shopping) and do tend to buy the whole store when i go, even if i only need milk!!!!
Right, better go and see whats in store for flylady today before little one gets here - only the one today so thats why we can go out easily!!!

Have a lovely day everyone, hope all those who have been poorly are feeling better, and those giving up smoking are still doing well xxx
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning all

Second night in a row of little to no sleep so feeling very drained. Was meant to be viewing a flat later but going to cancel as I just don't have the energy.

Never made the banana bread yesterday or did the recycling, so still have all that to do.

I did manage to leave work EARLY yesterday though. :T One of my resolutions is to always leave on time and to stop caring about the work so much.

Also planning on losing 1 and a half stone - my tummy's getting rather big!!

    Hope everyone's ok

    Good Morning

I am still having trouble with the site too, hopefully it will improve throughout the day.

Had a good last day of hols yesterday, kids loved ice skating and want to go back again so have told them if they stick to their resolutions - keeping bedrooms tidy and doing homework each evening they can. Hopefully it will inspire them!

Looking forward to having house to myself this morning (OH will probably be up about lunchtime) Plan to come home from school run and do 2 hours of housework followed by 2 hours in the office. Have a small amount of ironing to do to keep up straight. After Ive posted a load will be going in wm. Have already emptied dw and made breakfast.

Didnt have a problem getting up this morning but cant wait for the longer evenings and waking up to daylight.

Best go now - need more coffee.

Hope you all have good days.
