    Hi everyone,

I have been busy today so I haven't been able to post until now. Peem - I couldn't find the thread either!

I'm not doing too well with no-spend days so far :o Last night I picked DS up from after-school just before 6pm and he was getting a bit upset, as he does when he's hungry (like me) and as I had no tea planned we went to Pizza hut. It was a bit of a treat for us too. Spent £19 there. I thought I had cancelled it out by cashing in my petty cash receipts, which came to just over £20. However at lunchtime I spent £11 in M&S. I bought two tops for DS, one a t-shirt for £3 and another that looks like a t-shirt under a jumper iykwim for £5, as well as £3 on my lunch. Overall then I'm £10 down today but I don't think this is disastrous!

Am waiting for my local council to reply to me about my 25% single adult reduction on my council tax. I checked the criteria and as OH has a house that he lives in for most of the week I think I qualify. We'll have to see if the council agree!

Had a call earlier from DS. He received the results of his step 1 keyboard exam today. (He took it just before Christmas). He passed with 82%. He sounded so chuffed! Bless.

Right, time to tidy away and go home.

RZL - wish I was closer to London, enjoy your February meet!

Hello all :) good evening and I hope everyones well :D Hope Crazychiks ds is ok too, was thinking of her this morning when I was reading an appointment letter for my son. Great news about Tilly Grace, sounds like a little fighter :)

Well it's been my oldests 8th Birthday (making me feel old) so we've been out to local soft play (free play and lunch organised by carer support just happened to be on his birthday so had a party with kids he knows for free basically) had family over etc (at last I wasn't embarrassed to let them in the sitting room :D )

Haven't done a great deal housework wise because of that but plan to do some this evening. Made quick and easy omlette for DP before he went to work.

Best go get the boys ready for bed

    Take care everyone :D

Oh and I haven't had a cigarette all day so far so doing much better, been having 1 a day for a week and DP now listening to me and smoking outside (away from the door)
One day I might be more organised...........

dlb I know what you mean on that one, when I have been having that one it's been making me realise why I am stopping, the head spinning from the carbon monoxide (so I am told) and the coughing makes me put it out well before finishing it.

I just wish DP would quit (he said he was so I did to support him) as it would make it so much easier, got cigarettes and lighters etc about because he's still smoking and when he lights one I could snatch it out of his mouth but resist.

Oh and my nails, they weren't the best before but if I keep going like this I will have none left!

Forgot to add my first delivery from summernaturals who do all the OS cleaning things like borax etc has arrived, left it unopened until the kids go to bed then I can investigate properly, I ordered all kinds of OS things as I had a lot in my paypal account :D

Plus to add to the good bits I got offered a free! holiday at Pontins today, should have more details tomorrow so will post more then :)

dlb, don't beat yourself up about it. You've done really well! :T I wish I had your willpower.

Well we didn't make it to the factory outlet today. Apparently I spent too long on the pc this morning so it wasn't worth the drive. :o

Instead as it was a gorgeous sunny day we went for a long walk and fed the ducks.

I'm just making a pasta bake for the childrens tea tonight as we're going out for dinner, just the two of us. I can't wait........after two whole weeks of doing childrens things and playing with their toys, it'll be good to have an uninterrupted converstation. :)

    Have a good evening everyone.

vickya - Ive got RConleys Ultimate too - its good isnt it! I bought the salsacise one recently - its good but very gentle so you might need to upgrade to something abit more puff!

oooh yes, it is great. The only problem is it is when I do the walk forward and clap, I almost land in the tv because our living room is tiny! :D I'd heard that the salsacise one was quite gentle. Maybe I'll let DH get that one for my birthday.

    to everyone else.

This is only a quick message as I need to put supper on and DH is on his way back home.

I had a bit of a bonus today because my supply agency 'phoned at 7.40am (I was snoozing) with a day of work. Would I like to do it? Too damn right I would, especially as the school was practically next door to the shopping centre in Peterborough. I stopped off after my day of work to do a little bit of sales shopping. I got my Christmas cards for next Christmas and some half price presents in Boots, which will do for birthday presents later this year! I need to go back there though as my arms were collapsing under the weight of the shopping. ;)

    Take care all

I decided with all the encouragment to book the holiday but either their phones are playing up or they have been engaged all day :( Never mind, I will try again tomorrow. I've told DH we are going, everyone is over the moon as they loved the site last time, very quiet but with a nice lively little club and a heated pool. DH has even said to opt for a better caravan as it's only £34 more. So we will now have 3 bedrooms (last time was a nightmare as DD kept DS awake half the night wanting to play) and a DVD player in case of rain and boredom (although there was so much to do around the area we didn't have a chance to get bored and even had to fit in 2 things on our way home).

So May Bank Holiday we are off for a week in Wales :D As soon as I can get it booked that is!
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    F U Fund currently at £250
