So stressed...No dress

But we do not know any of the details do we? We do not know when it was agreed the dress would be received by, only that it would probably go out last tuesday and it obviously did not.
The dress will more than likely turn up monday, Op will be delighted and
everything will be fine.
Had the dressmaker not responded ,and with quite a long post but short on detail, the Op may have come back here on monday saying panic over!!0 -
Sounds like the dress is sitting in the post office waiting for the OP to collect it?lindaatno9 wrote: »I can clarify the item was sent (in my terms recorded) but in PO terms track and trace special delivery and is at the current time, 'in the system, received at the specified post office.'Seeking the champagne lifestyle on a cider budget!

There seems to be a bit of a mob mentality going on here, I'm glad some people aren't joining in with it.0

I must admit I find it strange that you won't email or call outside of "office hours" but will happily spend some time creating posts on here about the business. We all do and say things we regret when under severe stress, but the way you're responding to an obviously worried Bride to be is pretty astounding IMO.
I find this post quite astounding actually. Linda obviously has a life outside of dress making and can post/not post in her spare time as much as she pleases! Just because she posts on here do you really believe she should be available to answer peoples questions 24/7?
Linda has taken her own personal time to advise on issues/items even when they are not being bought from her and she has never (to the best of my knowledge) advertised her services on this forum.
Whatever happened with the original despatch date is between Linda and the OP, not anyone on here and it certainly isn't for anyone to comment on...especially if the dress now HAS been sent (in plenty of time to reach the OP).
I know that weddings are a stressful time for the Bride and I hope that the OP gets her dress from the Post Office soon

Hi guys
Can you try to keep the thread friendly please?
As the dressmaker has responded already I'll leave the post here as their right of reply in this instance.
Also, while it's a little late now, can I gently remind you that people should not be using our forum to do business.
Thanks!Could you do with a Money Makeover?
