Pic 2 Now where's that Bank statement from April 1956?... :eek:0 -
I was wondering more about picture 8.
Picture 9 - maybe some houses there don't really have a main area. Hence the purpose of the photo being to show that this house does.
I know that many of the older terrace houses, for instance, in my own area have their staircase going right up between the two reception rooms and little, if any, main area space and have wondered since whether I should have added in a photo of my main area (to show that I have a hallway and the stairs aren't in a reception room - ie bigger house than some others).0 -
Maybe it is to highlight the fact that there is no handrail of any sort (and that the person taking the photo was in imminent danger of falling down a cliff face).0 -
Just gone in for a look at the rest of those photos of that house.
That's another lesson learned for the day: don't assume that the presence of a garage door necessarily means that a house has a garage. I've never seen a rickety lean-to with a garage door attached to it before:eek:. So much for my automatic assumption that if a house looks, on the face of it, as if it has a garage that I could just put storage shelves up on its brick walls....hmmm....
Mind you, the "return" for that is the own goal scored by the vendor - with the way they didn't bother to remove that bit of snow from the back garden before the photo of that was taken. They'll have to have that photo retaken soon in order that it doesn't "date" the particulars when better weather comes.0 -

It would seem that aliens are descending on this house with a particular focus on the bathroom basin.
