Isn't it the roof of the double garage in the last picture? It looks a pain to actually get from the garage to the house though, unless there's some tunnel under the garden.
ETA unless it's the garage to the left of the house in the first picture, in which case it's easy to get to the front door, but the picture of the garage looks to be in a long narrow place with walls on either side, and in the first picture it doesn't go very far back.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Appearances can be deceiving, just look at the size of those rooms!Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -

Either way, I'd be vary wary of any construction like that.
Can of worms that - you can't beat mother nature and she has a habit of working its way into a construction. The earth naturally wants to go sideways and would eventually break the wall. Not to mention the constant dampness on the wall (even if you put a membrane in, it wouldn't last longer than a few years). The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

It is the garage to the right of the house (final picture). But as you can see, it's a long way round to the steps up the front of the house (which ascend from the left). That made me wonder if the garage on the left belongs to the advertised house - in which case the "sunken garage" is the neighbour's! Odd.0 -

Can't work out if it belongs to the neighbour?
I suppose it saves on scaffolding if the roof needs work!0 -

...and, if its the neighbours house, talk about putting your house walls at risk of getting plants planted all over them to try and mask the "garden feature"..... That's not to mention the risk of someone tripping over and falling straight through that roof....0 -

Nope. It's not your imagination, there is a radiator behind that badly fitted and unsealed bath with an oddly positioned shower.
The plastic storage box lid sitting on the basin need a little explanation too.......
Where did you find this gem? :rotfl::huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0
