Your money goes a bit further up here.
Look what a mere £3 million can buy you.
And the further north you go the more you get for your money.
I love the listing of features in the first one - detached, garden, island...bagpussbear wrote: »http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/27820177?tmad=c&tmcampid=35&utm_campaign=buy-alert&utm_content=contact-type-listing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=alert
this one needs a lot of cosmetic work obviously, but no idea how picture 7 adds value?!
I think you've misunderstood - it's in Dewsbury, that's how much they pay you to move in there.... Seriously though it's really overpriced IMO. You can go to a town like Halifax or Wakefield and get a house for less than half that. Maybe not a 'cottage', but at least you'd fit through the door...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Hempriggs House, Wick:
Withdrawn from the market now.moneyistooshorttomention wrote: »well I suppose there'd be a large Council Tax bill though...
Currently listed for business rates with a rateable value of £33,750
effective from 01-APR-10. The Business Rate for 2012/2013 is 45.0p in the £.
If the property were residential, Highland Council Tax Band G is £1,938.33. (This would be for a property valued at £106k-£212k in 1991). Scottish Water charge for unmetered residential Band G would be £655.95 for mains water and sewage.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Looks very dark downstairs and what's with the black coving?
Never match your sofa colour to a plain feature wall..
The bathroom could have been stunning but since when do flowers and seahorses go together? Or blue floral paper with matching cladding with white tiles?
Bright spotty plate propped up against the wall,on the dining room floor.
The little fire looks ridiculous.
Are those doors really that low and wide?
