Errrmm...is this trick question of the day...or do we say the obvious, ie "It aint detached". But then estate agents do seem to be rather notorious for describing a property as "one rung up the ladder" as a house type to what it actually is, so that particular "mistake" isnt that unusual.

Second thing - not a bad house for a semi-detached and wonder what the garden is like.

I keep looking at this one and mulling it over. The only thing that puts me off is that it seems "top heavy" ie too many bedrooms in relation to decent sized reception rooms unless you did a reshuffle, and "lost" a couple of bedrooms on the first floor and made some extra living accommodation.

A friend of mine did something similar and I have also sold quite a few town houses that had that kind of arrangement. Not keen on them myself but it could be made to work.

One of these days I might just book a viewing. I would love to know the story behind it. Did someone get bored, did the money run out, did they discover something truly horrendous once they had started stripping it back.

One thing's for sure it's not for the feint-hearted. :rotfl:

Maybe we should make it a joint venture lol. I would love to take it on but even with a builder as a partner it is just too much right now. Would be nice to see it finished and yeah I would love to know the back story. Wait long enough and they will be paying some one to take it off their hands.

Once upon a time circa 1999, I needed to buy a cheap house in Nottingham - I've never been sent the details of so many houses that were trying to fall down coal mines.

Unsure, it's clear some is living in there whilst having a go at renovating but all its looks like is that got hold of a funky bath shower combo then ran out of funds by the bowl of loose change on the kitchen table:rotfl: bet it's bloody cold on that mattress!
