The sleeping area has "restricted height".

Ahem, 'girls on top' would certainly seem to be off the agenda!

That said, handy to hide in when it all kicks-off in Peckham!

I love trying to swing the cat round in the 360 degree view.
It really brings the reality home

One narrow room in a basement leading to a shower room. I am not sure about the ventilation available, let alone the view, through the one window. It has been tastefully obscured against prying eyes by the yellowing pages of the local free budgie cage liner.

Interesting structure under the stairs, that must be a double mattress, and there appears to be room for a dryer as well as a washing machine? The generous looking studio measurement of 21 feet includes the slot under the stairs. Hardly part of a habitable room. Are there no standards in this part of the advertising industry ?

I am confused by the floor plan, is it trying to say that all that big half landing belongs to the studio, but the door is at the bottom of the second leg of the stairs up to the "raised" ground floor ?????

Just who has access to the space above the bed area? Does anyone else have a similar cell in the basement?

People tend to end up sleeping cupboards when there is a surge in migration, be it Jews into the Ghetto or Highlanders cleared into the Gorbals.

and literally doesnt work (even for those of us who've forgotten just why we ever got excited about the opposite sex....:rotfl:).

I would be wondering just how many times I would bang my head - except it literally wouldnt be possible to make the bed or read in bed even. Nope - whatever way you look at it...that "bed" is a joke bad enough to see whether it infringes something like the Trade Description Act. Might do as a bed for a cat or a small dog - but definitely not for a human being.

    Not as a gift territory
  • If your property fails to sell after six or so months on the market it would be understandable to seek possible reasons. It could be the price, presentation or location. Analyse the problems and rectify them if you can. You can't do much about location so concentrate on what you can alter.

So are we at all surprised? Right through from sick-making angle of block of flats as a whole to Tatty City time for the flat.

On the other hand - or am I the only one that would think that - but it's in Brighton but has an England flag across one of the windows.

Brighton...England flag...it does not compute. Certainly doesn't go with Brighton's slightly Alternative feel and that, on its own, would probably put a noticeable proportion of Brighton buyers off. You're either a bit "alternative" OR you put up England flags.

Well, that's my take on it anyway..keep with the general perception of the area you are in if you want to fit in.

Good old declutter, spring clean and maybe put up some more Brighton-appropriate decorative stuff on the one hand or very conventional/modern/straight down the line stuff on the other hand - but not England flags please..one quick look at that and some potential buyers would run a mile.
