I just cannot imagine what Kirsty and Phil would say about the appearance of the inside of this property if they walked in together, total first time silence from both of them I would think.

Have to say, the bathroom wasn't quite what I expected from this one - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-24232449.html
Well for a house built in the days of "bucket & chuck it" left to the servants, I am surprised it is not listed. Certainly to a Londoner it looks like one hell of a lot of house for the money, if you can afford the massive heating bill.
With a choice of three bathrooms, I think a fun one for the kids is a great idea.0 -

It doesn't matter how many agents you list it with, it's still a seriously ugly building!

Oh, and this - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/property-36230911.html - is a really neat way of trying to disguise the fact that what you're buying is currently just a very muddy hole in the ground!Back after a very long break!0 -

I know - the first one is completely ghastly - DS was a chorister for eight years at the cathedral opposite and one of the clergy who was a good friend lived alongside that particular house. We always remarked how those houses were an eyesore compared to the characterful cathedral! DS also was at school opposite the next one you've linked - that's a lovely property btw - so all-in-all we spent a great deal of time in/around the High St.
We lived five minutes away from there until about five years ago and back in the 1990s we actually almost bought Felton House in the High St which is next door to the house where the Duke of Buckingham was assassinated by John Felton in 1628. It was apparently the place where Portsmouth FC was formed in 1898 - something that didn't go down too well with DH who is a Saints fan! It's also supposed to be haunted, if you believe that sort of stuffMortgage-free for fourteen years!
