Thanks money
. I have just tried the vendor again and he isn't in still. I did leave a message earlier. I quite deliberately didn't phone the agent as I would like the vendor to see it.
That thought crossed my mind of NOT phoning the soon-to-be-ex-agent - but this vendor can get screenshots of one of us to prove his case anyway and I felt his priority would be to "kick the heck out of the agents". Their backsides are probably feeling quite sore already if they have checked their email this afternoon:cool:
Shall now go off to puzzle about those vendors who don't literally check every syllable - or photo - of their website entries. Mine are going to be proofread by me before they even go up if I can get my mitts on it in advance...0 -
This has got to be the most bizzare thing I have ever seen on rightmove. Picture 10 shows a photo of the owner's bankstatement!

I would be seriously cross!
According to Property Bee it only went on the market today. Could this be a candidate for the shortest agreement with an agent? I feel so sorry for the vendor and I hope he will be suing them for disclosing personal information on a national website.0 -

Very true - about the shortest record ever.
My guess is some soon-to-be-ex-office-junior decided to play a prank and chose to pick up that statement lying around - rather than mooning at the camera. I think the vendor would have preferred them to do the mooning - at least they would be able to have a laugh about that...:cool:0 -
Couldn't be anything to do with this, could it? Proof that the money is there. :undecided

I think the vendor already knows tbh.
It's what you do isn't it, when the EA tells you it's listed you check to see what it looks like online.
It's no longer listed on the Allen & Harris website. It takes a day or so for Zoopla and Rightmove to update.0 -
when I sold my house last year my EA took photos of various forms of ID so they could properly verify me, mortgage statement, bank statement, deed stuff etc, but of course they were NOT to be used for anything except to make sure I was me, and had the right to sell the house etc before they put it up for sale.
All I can imagine is this EA took similar photos, but some numpty didn't use what few brain cells they had and put one of the 'proof of ID' photos up with the house photos?
I honestly can't imagine why else it would happen, unless the EA in question is completely mental, or has a grudge against their employer or the person selling.
Is a terrible thing to happen tho and I hope it gets sorted out very quickly, and bottoms are thoroughly spanked! There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0 -

Well I've read a poster on here before now saying that they needed to "lose it" with an estate agent and the Rightmove website entry had been changed 30 minutes later (after the agent pleading that they were going to and then pleading again that they were going to).
Maybe someone needs to be physically available at the RightMove central office to do the removing? - though I would imagine that the local estate agent themselves does the inputting onto that site.
Thinks - must make sure that my house goes up on the Rightmove website on a Monday-Thursday (ie so that the Rightmove office wallahs will be at work the next day just in case.....).
You and I would have the sense to check our own entries everywhere they were up within the hour - but have you noticed just how awful many of the Rightmove entries are - I'm darned if I could make out the sizes of the rooms in a house I got sent details of, as the measurements were all totally cockamamie. I would have thought room measurements being accurate was basic.0 -

I think it went on late afternoon yesterday. I noticed about 6pm, but didn't flick through the photos until today.0 -
