Plus road noise from the busy road into Totnes behind the cemetery. Parking is difficult. The primary school has a terrible reputation (to the point it is only half full). Harbertonford is also well known for flooding. But apart from that, I'm sure it's lovely.
then there was the leper colony of course:rotfl:***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

It would appear that as well as owning the house since it was built, they have chosen not to redecorate.
I also suspect that the estate agent habours a secret desire to write really awful novels."No society can surely be flourishing and happy of which by far the greater part of the numbers are poor and miserable"Adam Smith6/300 -

That's a very blue bathroom!0 -
I have a blue bathroom.
Not quite as blue, but it does have a blue suite. It's inherited though, not my choice !

We lived with an avocado suite for years but I toned the effect down by the choice of colours for the walls and blinds, rather than emphasising it by making everything that colour. It's fascinating looking at these houses to see just how different other people's tastes are.0

ALL ward&partners listings are written like that, I don't know if they use the same person shared between agencies but it literally put me off buying a house with them.
"Live the life of a celebrity against a stunning sea backdrop. Be the envy of friends and family and wake every morning feeling like you've won the lottery in this beautifully designed apartment."
Oh, shut up!
They also use HDR images, quite often they left the original photo called "Hallway (delete this)" on the listing that was grey and dreary, then "Hallway (new)" where they had retouched the colours on Photoshop to make it unnaturally bright. Quite an odd effect. I think they use the same person or company for this for all their listings. Case in point:

After the blue bathroom, how about a burgundy one? I also love how symmetrical they have made the garden!0 -

I know someone who had one of those and she hated it. Every little splash of water left a water mark. She spent forever trying to keep it looking clean.0
