I don't think thats the house for anyone with small children :rotfl:

A few doors down, this one could be suitable - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-82079426.html

Has a cellar, which is always a bonus, especially with small children :D

I like that a lot although the lack of outside space and size of the property (too small) would be deal breakers for us. I wouldn't be put off by the bathing facilities ;)

We designed a previous house to have a doorless ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom and never experienced any issues. Both rooms were large (the ensuite was formerly a decent sized bedroom) for the toilet to be far enough away for smells not to drift, lol :D Nor could the toilet be seen from the bedroom.

Regarding curtains, I mostly make my own and always have them pooling on the floor to greater or lesser degrees. I think it looks good but the main reason is I CBA to hem them......

I think of Elm Hill with fondness having been introduced to the Britons Arms by my late husband. That building was built 600 years ago.

Just across the road is a shop window crammed full of bare bottoms.

    Well, quite!

I was looking at one of the seller's other items and clicked on "show other items" as a seller with one interesting thing often has other similar items.

And occasionally there are weird coincidences.

Actually, I really must show that to Mr Skiddaw. He has a falsie too (his is green :)). It took me a fair old time to cotton on the fact that he had a false eye when we were first together because they're very realistic. He'd not realised he hadn't told me so it didn't half give me a turn when, one fine day, he removed it to give it a clean....

The property is surrounded by gardens, which would benefit from cultivation and landscaping

No mention of the huge chicken sheds directly opposite...

I like the man up the ladder in the street view! :)

What a bizarre house... wonder what the back story is?
