Yep, see literally any home/interiors style advice:

None of those examples are near as excessively long though.0 -
What is it with the curtains that are too long and crumpled on the floor? Pics 8, 10,11
Is that some kind of deliberate "style" these days?
Yep! It is indeed the fashion to have floor length (and beyond) curtains. We compromised with curtains that fall beneath the window recess (can't abide short curtains) but don't quite reach the floor.0 -

They're squeezed a shower room in , which won't be to everyone's taste (eg those with small children) but kept or put a bath in the bedroom, which will be to even fewer people's taste!
Yes, I know they can do what they like as owners but they are hardly widening the appeal for a sale.0 -
What a totally gorgeous house that is....0 -
My mum used to make curtains for a living and I'd sometimes help hang them. I hung some in a very posh property where the lady of the house was so pleased with her 18" over long curtains arranged carefully in a heap all over the floor just as she had ordered
In walked the very down to earth cleaner and said, "Ooooh curtains! Won't they look good when you've got the hems done!"
The look on the posh woman face was pricelessLove living in a village in the country side0 -

I think it may be further limited by the complete absence of any cooking facilities. At least the drainer suggests they use plates for their takeaways.0 -

Brilliant :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I once, unintentionally, said something similar about 10 years ago to a wannabe posh woman I used to work with. She was happily telling everyone in the office about her wonderful new kitchen and making a big deal about the karndean floor. This was the first time I'd ever heard of karndean so I asked her what it was, after she explained I completely innocently said, 'oh you mean lino?'.
She was most unimpressed: "NO!!!, IT'S NOT LINO!!"0 -
