Last sold in late 2018 for £435k when it presumably still had some character. It was on at £950k!
Upstairs not suitable for skirt wearers
That's all just SO wrong for a house such as that.:(:(

The whole place looks like somewhere one of those people who buys their baby monochrome designer furniture and wonder why twenty years later their child is a sociopath.

There is of course the possibility the current owners included the feature for exactly that reason.0 -

I'm wondering what that 'structure on wheels' is in pic 9 - looks very curious0 -
Loving the cellar in this place, and the mind is overdrive thinking about what could be done with the space

I would say it's a bed. For someone very highly disabled. There's a track on the ceiling for a hoist. Plus there's a track on the ceiling of the bathroom in picture 10.
The house has been heavily adapted to suit a particular disabled person. I'm guessing here, but you would normally only choose to sell such a house in a few specific circumstances, which I won't spell out.
Edit: I'll just add that it's a full size bed, but there are mobiles (such as for a baby) attached to the ceiling. There, but for the grace of God ....No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Yes, from the description, the addition bedroom/bathroom was built
as an "annex" , along with a utility and reception room.
The ceiling track runs from the bedroom to the bathroom.0 -

Plasterboarding in the bathroom is a bit rough.
Can't believe no-one in London hasn't squeezed a triangular house in somewhere.
Love the Mickeys and Minnies, old books with the cottage on the cover. the ornaments of cheese and various artwork of the cottage.
My home was built on a former factory and got the company's logo (which is the road is named) in a frame in the hall.0 -
