That house is such a disappointment. When you first see it you think lovely cosy country cottage and then when you see the inside it has had all the character modernised out of it. It now looks like a set for advertising different interiors all in the same building. I think it is just awful.
Quite a few cottages (some quite small) I've seen online have that mix of old and very contemporary - they're often extensions - it can work.
Personally I really don't like prominent beams in houses. I accept they are authentic and historical but I wouldn't choose to live with a house full of them
Spiders? did anyone spot the furry thing in pic 15?
I thought it was a photo-bombing dog at first but must be one of the throws

All down to individual taste but I like it.
IMO they've successfully modernised it AND retained a lot of the character of the building.0 -

I like that - a lot of house for the money and I like some of the little nods to it's former history. It's been on the market a long time, I guess it is a high price for the area.0 -

Do you love - flowery wallpaper (and on the ceiling), OTT floral curtains and gold taps, this place is for you!0 -

It’s also a lot bigger than many people need. It’s a bit of a white elephant, if you think about maintaining it.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
