Love the kitchen. It's in perfect condition. But the shell bath in the bedroom.....:rotfl:
And oh so expensive.

I would imagine that bath was pretty expensive when installed. We have connections to the bathroom industry - two friends with showrooms (one very high end/award winning) and another is the MD of Arteform, plus DH was a designer years ago - and have never come across one like that.
DH knows quite a bit about old styles/colours etc and thinks it's quite rare - if rather hideous - and we both agreed we'd want to preserve it...as a conversation piece, if nothing else.
Wouldn't fancy using it and it should probably be in a museum of bathroom history, lol!Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Looks nice - and I like the area too (only marred by the "usual suspects" pavement parking:cool:).
All that I could see wrong with the house itself being that it's semi-detached and not detached and I'd want to change the colour of kitchen cabinets personally. OOh....and they've got one of those John Lewis garden thingies to sit in - I'd want that one to come with the house too...
That one would do me nicely - apart from being semi-detached.0 -

For a moment I thought there was a spot the dog too, until realised it was just a very realistic cushion on the bed! (pic 17)0 -

I'm sure a little mermaid fan would love that bath!
Apparently it's an 8 bedroom property but under 'Features' it says "Stunning seven bedroom property". Going by the floor plan it looks like a 7 bed. Wonder what the approved planning permission is for.0 -

Times do change and many (most?) people do like to update fittings to suit those changes. How many of us would retain an avocado suite because it was still functional? Some would of course but many more would not.0 -

But wouldn't have changed it just because it was 1980's style - the change would have been because it was pretty much falling apart by then after years of use.
My 80s kitchen is rock solid. Not many cabinets factory assembled available these days.0
