Proper 80s kitchen and bathroom! I think those must have gone in when it was built.

I swear those kitchen units were the same as we put in mil's house - and yes, would have been circa 1980. I think they were MFI.0

Anyway, with rising sea levels and more frequent extreme weather happenings, I really wouldn't want to take on renovating a wreck that's both expensive and low lying. Even if I had the money. :rotfl:
Devoran's a place where many properties are bought as second homes and bolt holes for sailing, but it isn't that special, so the extra pics are possibly an attempt to justify the price premium. Buyers will probably be folks who can't afford a holiday place in very posh Feock, just up the road.
The house isn't very low lying; it's over 30m above mean sea level.
The first creekside photo was[STRIKE] stolen[/STRIKE] borrowed from Geograph, as were the other two:

Interesting interior - looks a bit 1970s to me. Think I'd be tripping out in the loo.

I think I've come across another property owned by the same people up in Manchester. Holes in ceilings, plaster partially removed from walls, gaps in floor boards...
We'd told the estate agent we wanted a habitable property. :eek:0 -

It reminds me of a bad copy of the Stahl house which was finished in 1960.0 -

What I'm coming to recognise as "Brighton style" - ie a bit artistic.
Then there's Totnes style - ie a bit "hippy" - Buddhist prayer flags obligatory.
and so on...
Thought for the day - is there a distinct "style" for your city/town/village and, if so, how would you describe it? Any examples welcome...:)0 -
Just add .html to the end and it works

The kitchen is a perfect example of how clever ‘staging’ can dramatically improve the look of any room;...the kitchen table-top decoration is awesome!0
