That's true, sometimes you do need space for an imaginary friendI was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Maybe I'm too picky, but the dimensions of the main bedroom in this Persimmon new-build are strange - 18' 10" x 5' 9". A standard double bed would have 7.5 inches either side for access. Pics seem to show the room as a single + ensuite "master bedroom"! https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-68126668.html"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

And a king size wouldn't fit in at all.0

I could manage the house - as a single person. I'd just have to sleep in the second bedroom (in order to get my 5' wide bed into it). It would feel a bit odd not being able to use the main bedroom as my bedroom though. I'd have to keep my clothes in the main bedroom and that would mean disturbing anyone I had staying in what would be my "guest bedroom" if I wanted them.
Cue for one could spend some time sitting there thinking "Now how should they have done the layout on that house?":think:0 -

Picture 4, for example, doesn't seem to relate to any of the bedrooms.0 -
If it's very new built it might not actually be built yet, and just be made up from other houses on the development.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

5'9" is probably the width of the room at it's narrowest point.0 -

Maybe a typo? If you add the dimensions up downstairs its doesn't seem right? My maths aint great but..
EDIT: nope - they have deffo got the 'master' set up as a single as its the only bedroom with 2 windows and the 'double' bed is in the 2'nd bedroom - plonkers...guess the kids get the ensuite and the grownups get to use the main bathroom then. Bet the photo of the 'double' room is using a 4 foot double (queen size)to make it look bigger anyway...0 -

As a previous poster mentioned the pictures don't match the floorplan. the room you're referring to has 2 windows on 2 different walls, the floorplan has 2 windows on the same wall.0 -
Not sure if it is just the camera angle but those stairs in pic 2 look lethal

I think they may have stretched the picture vertically a little as the door of the dryer/washing machine appears to be slightly oval as opposed to circular.0
