You know with the packing boxes and that table - it actually looks as if someone has been living there until relatively recently?0 -
I swear those kitchen units were the same as we put in mil's house - and yes, would have been circa 1980. I think they were MFI.
We had a similar kitchen in the mid 1970s (different colour) it was a Wrighton one. In those days there weren't many 'chain' kitchen places. I think the main kitchen manufacturers were Hygena (sp) and Wrighton.
The house we had it in was up for sale recently and had the same kitchen in it lol.0 -

Thought for the day - is there a distinct "style" for your village and, if so, how would you describe it?
Most folks here have other stuff occupying their days, so in the main, it's probably "Can't be arsed " style. Must say, I'm quite fond of it.0 -

Well, there's a smart meter installed, so at least they'd have known exactly how much it was costing them to heat the rest of the universe. :rotfl:0 -
Seems pricey for a two-bed flat, even round here. OK, big garden, nice decorative order, but then you get to photo of 'Bedroom 2'. It's *really* pricey for a 1 bed flat with study/baby's room.

Especially pricey when your next link offers a 5 bed detached for just 25% more. Is the first one in a better area?0 -

It's clearly an aspirational photo, helping a potential buyer to envisage living there.

You could make this into 'something', but why is it so expensive, as it is still close to Yarmouth.
sold prices in the locality, are also high, so there must be another something I'm missing.

A friend who made the mistake of moving there, and then spent years trying to get out, gave me to understand that there is a premium for properties not in Great Yarmouth.0
