I doubt it. Probably just confusing people.moneyistooshorttomention wrote: »
EDIT: Thinks - wonder if this thread is playing its little part in helping to drive house standards up to normal level......
For example, I'm still trying to get my head past your last comment about oil central heating.
What on earth do you think all those desirable, quietly situated houses in the countryside have as 'normal' heating systems, if not oil fired?0 -
But how much would it cost to rent in that location over a 2 year period? And the ground rent's reasonable!!!:rotfl:rabialiones wrote: »This has to be the shortest lease I have ever seen. Isn’t the statutory minimum before you can extend after purchasing 2 years anyway?!?

That room is 9' x 7'11. Big enough for a bed?0 -
Wow. 1 bedroom. Dated, inadequate, pedestrian access only and no parking, yet still £350k0

This house seems perfect for one of those free spirits you see on TV who want to live a secluded, feral lifestyle...
That, or just for the green-fingered.

Um....secluded? It's within a few metres of another property. Put on a loincloth there and the neighbours will have you away to the psychiatric unit soon as a Masonic handshake.
Not sure how the renovation works either, with no parking for trucks, skips etc. Looks like a real headache property.0 -

Attuned to London and south east prices as I am, that still seems extraordinary - unless there really is scope for redevelopment, which Davesnave suggests is going to be difficult.0

Doesn't look that bad to me, although the kitchen could do with updating, and some shrubs pruning.0

Wonder what is going on in that house to stimulate them to list it on Rightmove on Christmas Day :xmassmile0
