Definition of frustration okay on that one:(.
It does look like a nice house = yep go for it.
Then one reads "oil fired central heating" and thinks "Damn = hassle and expense to get shot of that then - but manageable".
But the killer for someone like myself (ie non car-owner) would be that road and "Next please.....(darn it)".
Though that field next door is a concern as well - as my first thought woulda been "Bet that farmer ain't organic - so nasty chemical spraying at intervals", closely followed by "Bet that farmer is gonna try and sell that field for more housing at some point:(". Gawd - why does living on Planet Earth make one so cynical years down the line of doing so?0

            Define "a peaceful country setting"?
Should have said "now you can feel like a catseye with the proximity to the M77"!

Yep, just reminds me of this one. Lovely views. 270 degrees dominated by the adjacent mechanics and prison...and a great 90degree countryside view over a busy road. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-47853261.html0

But it does say "close to transport links".
Which I once thought meant = take at face value, ie it's conveniently-located.
But then learnt that that is used to mean "lots of traffic noise - and not for me personally".0

Also - wherever it's located - the kitchen is a "don't look above waist height" thing (the electric gubbins and the ceiling!).
EDIT: Thinks - wonder if this thread is playing its little part in helping to drive house standards up to normal level......0
