Haven't looked at the layout, but the strange beams sticking through in one of the bedrooms puts me off. As does the acres of woodchip.

plus - what a strange layout? Good job it's still got a separate toilet!

Our current house has a similar odd layout :o

You can walk through the first floor bathroom to get to first a large (11' x 9') landing/study area and from there into the master bedroom. Otoh, we do have a second staircase - from when the 1850s house was extended in the early part of the 20th century - that allows you to bypass the bathroom, lol!

Our bathroom - that also has a separate loo - has a door at each end and one has to remember to lock both when there are guests in the house ;)

Like the linked property, we have three receptions, four bedrooms and only two loos, but two of our bedrooms are on the second floor, where there is currently no loo/bathroom at all.

Unlike our house - that we are in the process of reconfiguring - imho it would be relatively easy to rejig the space to a more user friendly layout. It certainly wouldn't put me off viewing if I was after a semi in that area.

Edited to add - we have/had the acres of woodchip too!

These vendors have set up a website to sell their 'quirky' (aka, unsellable) house. Open-plan kitchen/bedroom, anyone? In fact basically almost open plan everything!

Took me a while to find it, but it is there:

I also like how they've described it as "over 1740sq ft" when the floor plan shows 1740sq ft including the garage!!

Pic 6. Never mind the golden triangle of fridge, sink, oven. This is more of a sine wave of despair.

What do they mean "each with its own floor"?
What else would you walk on?

Well they do if you risk being trapped in your bedroom every time someone goes to the bathroom ;)

Knocking the dividing wall including door to bathroom, put up wall back of bath. So bed 4 has its own access and enter the bathroom by the existing separate loo door.

    Indeed.

TBH, rather than making a website, they would have been better to spend the money and effort staging it with furniture for the photos as it looks pretty desolate. It was their home, apparently, although evidently the owners are living elsewhere now as it appears to be 80% empty and with all that open space it looks more like an office than a house.
