I noticed the number of contrails in the sky though - and so for the next few years would want to check out just how many aircraft flew overhead disturbing the peace and tranquillity it looks like it should have.
Aircraft that high can't generally be heard.0 -

Generally, they can. A 747 flew over my house 5 minutes ago and I could hear it outdoors. It was at 37000' and decelerating, so not as loud as a jet accelerating/climbing to a similar altitude, and not very intrusive.
However, I live in a quiet place. If there was a busy road outside, I'd not have noticed that plane, or most of the others. The intrusiveness really depends on the sort of location affected.0 -

That amount of money and picture 9 shows nothing around that patio. Whoops - safety hazard and it looks a bit "unfinished".0 -

As Money pointed out, listing now says 30 bedrooms (though description still says 45).
There are some internal photos in the brochure from a previous attempt to sell here

It had 25 bedrooms then!
ETA. According to the article here http://www.andrewsgen.com/matlock/pix/matlockbath_woodbank.htm
it had 56 bedrooms at one stage.
I've just found the Rightmove listing from 2012. 31 bedrooms (& some more internal photos).

I like the mortgage repayment calculator at the bottom, estimating the monthly payment would be a mere £13,163.0 -
Two words to describe? From EA description, "Fabulous, Stunning"

From me, "No garden", (as such, for the price)! and you?
For me this has to be one of the worst houses I have seen on here. They have tried to change a boring detached house into a trophy house. Most of the price must be in what they have put into the decoration and that is all seriously horrible.0 -
