Shame there are no pictures of the basement
A basement that big, with no internal staircase yet, suggests an opportunity for an architect or surveyor to make a bit of a killing. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

That house is a kind of a TARDIS! Looks like nothing from the outside then there's all that space inside.
I had a pal whose family had a house a bit like that. It had a layout like this one here:

It was built into a steep hill, and from one side it looked like nothing, but the other side was open and spacious. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Ramps. It'll squeeze past the shed and the extension next to it.0 -
This just came on the market, I think they should, however, edit the first line as follows:
Deceptively spacious, three bed-roomed, detached cottage style villa, set off a private road shared with a commercial MOT centre, with delightful open rural aspects over the back of the prison, in the foreground, and vague views of the hills beyond the steel fence.

Parking looks a bit tight for an up-market 'recreational facility' targeted at lesser known-footballers, but there's plenty of space for the costumes and peripherals. The cinema lounge to put clients in the mood is a nice touch, or they could watch old matches and re-live that crucial penalty miss for an extra therapy fee.
Someone will need to plant some leylandii to hide the leylandii hedge they denuded, which won't be growing back.
Or, more seriously, I think they've bust the ceiling price for the area by a mile.0 -

Though they've got some of my stuff there - my kitchen worksurface and some of those bathroom tiles, etc, and I can fully resonate with getting a house together in a way that it's as little trouble as possible to maintain and live in and is"modern".
- I think one can overdo it and that garden is overdoing it imo. I'd be ripping up a lot of that paving at the front and everything at the back just to get something that looked like a "garden" and, to me, it doesnt look big enough to be in keeping with the size of that house. Personally I see no reason why a house shouldnt be modern but have a "wilder/more natural" garden style.0 -
