Come on Ocelot, you're gonna have to pick up your posting rate. 0.3 posts per year is a bit on the slow side!

Gosh. That is dreadful and different spellings in the description too. And larger than "avarage".

Wonder if they have a work experience student doing the marketing!

Puts you off the estate agent. If they employ people who can't spell and employ other people who don't check the people who can't spell it makes you wonder what the valuations are like and the marketing. No one doing any checking.

I bet they have passed GCSE English as well. No one ever seems to think that they have to get things right these days. Any old sloppy work will do.

Once upon a time, you lost points if your SPAG - spelling, punctuation and grammar was rubbish. now it doesn't.

When DD was in reception they had a book all the kids loved called Red is Best. Maybe the vendor has never grown out of it.

Are HouseSimple one of the online agents where you have to write your own particulars?

    Mythology.

There's significant differences between spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Grammar is often caught, although it's also taught. Punctuation follows rules, which must be learned, but at least they are reasonably straightforward.

Spelling is somewhat different, for although it often follows rules, there are many instances when it doesn't, to say nothing of the various homophones to trip the unwary!

FYI, it is still possible to lose marks for weak spelling at higher levels in education, although possibly not at primary school. Poor grammar and punctuation have always been penalised, both in SATS and in secondary school exams.
