On top of a hill for sure! Nothing would persuade me to live at 300m.
But someone will lust for it and the guide price is probably way low. There's definite signs of tartification in the area. ;)

Ok - you got me looking :). 260m, but in a bit of a valley - had to go to Bing OS maps for that. Streetview of the area (you can't get to it from the rightmove link) had a beautiful day in the Dales though.

I'm puzzled by your reference to tartification in the area - there's nothing to tartify there !

One thing that would concern me is that it appears to be built into some sort of dry watercourse in satellite view ... and no, this isn't the flood risk property in my earlier thread.

On the road I 'drove' along, one of the nearby farm houses of similar ilk had huge piles of rubble plonked alongside the road from the renovations that had been done.

Also there are loads of holiday cottages available nearby.

I may have got the wrong place. It's not where the Rightmove marker is; that's an agricutural machinery merchant's place from what I can see.

    Its Here.

I found the place with the rubble you referred to - it looks almost like a small reclamation yard :). But I guess it could well be the only place the trucks could drop off the materials for renovation of the nearby buildings (one of which has a suspiciously new looking roof and could be taken as the "After" look of the house I originally linked to !)

Another one of those that says somewhere between "Wow" and "Not with a bargepole"

In need of major works (at least half the roof and some damp issues visible in the photos but the floors look dry) and grade II listed. But if it goes for anywhere near that guide price you could throw £200k at it and still come out on top ...

There's something really creepy about that house.

Not creepy at all to me, Essex Girl! I know the A683 very well, a lovely drive. How much would I love to renovate that property? Too late for me now though.

Bad photoshopping makes this house only a foot deep.

Oddly it's not the photoshopping - once you've tracked it down you can see on satellite view that the house is only a few feet deep at that end ! No wonder there's no floorplan.

It's the one with the new red roof about 5 doors away from the marker ...

    Or any room dimensions.

I do like the idea of a 'stoned rear garden' though.

Its weird why none of the other properties have this shape.
