I don't like the decor, and the tiling, carpet and lighting in the bathrooms would bug me too, but it has the makings of a nice house.

I wonder if this is a misprint/error by the EA - I don't believe that a vendor who lets ivy grow all over the windows, or anywhere else on a house to be honest, would prune it in such a way to leave the roof completely untouched. Unless there is some anti-ivy coating that can be applied only to slates the that I am unaware of, I'd have thought the roof would have been covered in the stuff after 14 years (and the only Anti-Ivy I'm aware of was married to Uncle Bob )

I think the ivy looks deliberate and semi well-trimmed,so I'm not so sure.

Bearing in mind all the creepy crawly things that lurk in ivy, I can't imagine why anyone would allow such a huge amount of growth, constantly supplying them with minibeasts every time they open a window.

But there again, I never 'got' beards either. Hated the one I grew for a particular girlfriend, so it was a huge release when she dumped me. No more straining tea and soup through it!!!

Dont think they can make up their mind whether it's a single or a double room. Note to EA - it's (barely) a single room.

It appears to be insanely cheap (with all bills included). What are they not telling us?

Just shows how subjective the word 'large' can be. I'd go for something more like 'poky'. But sadly that is indeed a pretty good rate for a room in London.
