Looks like they ran out of black cupboard doors so used lime green instead. Bit random.

That house is one that would have me sitting there thinking "Euston -we have a problem. This house is so bog-standard boring etc etc that it's a challenge to give it a bit of style". Its true that they could have done a better job of bricking up the front door - but quick glimpse of the front of the house shows it's in a set-up where the neighbours could soon start to feel very intrusive if they were of the nosy type. So I guess the back entrance feels that bit more "private" and hence why they did that - so that their "comings and goings" didnt get constantly watched by the neighbours?
When you've got neighbours like that - then you do try and minimise their "observations"....
Thank you for the chuckle.0 -
Not sure if foreign properties are allowed, but I am browsing for a holiday home and came across this ad which is good as a "how not to take photographs" guide. I particularly like the picture of a curtain.

This one is NOT a horror. Really rather special - if you want a get away from it all bolthole.

Though the remoteness might be a bit of an issue in winter or the brook is in flood - even though it is almost off grid (private water, septic tank drainage).
Oh and the boiler doesn't work - so no heating at present.0 -

I think it's got a certain appeal - though too remote for many of us. Picture 5 has a clue in as to why the owner might want to be so remote and living somewhere "natural". Though picture 3 has the "inconsistent item" in (ie conventional bottle of spray cleaner - not an eco type one).0
