That house is gorgeous. They even have Liberty Ianthe curtains still in there (and matching wallpaper). Those aren't cheap! The stuff of dreams.0 -

Wow - that's stunning. To start with, I though "Father Ted's parochial house" - but it really is fantastic. Does anyone have a few spare millions plus David Tennant (or Gerard Butler perhaps; I'm not overly-picky) to fling in my direction?0 -

Not seen fluorescent strip lights in a sitting room/lounge for ages. And the kitchen floor covering is unusual as well.

I read one reference to 'charming (not)' tenants and the rest is about the house itself . With a bit at the bottom to say they vet their own tenants.
This risks having the 'Barbara Streisand effect'.
'WIPE YOUR FEET ON THE WAY OUT! Not for the faint hearted this first floor flat is being sold as seen, rubbish and all! Having recently just had to evict some charming (not) tenants the vendors of this property have had enough and can't even face setting foot in what used to be their sweet and charming home.
I can't flower this one up or use my normal estate agent jargon to make this sound any better. The property is full of rubbish, there is mould on the walls and I think there may even be some fleas there to keep me company when I carry out the viewings.'Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

If you want to live in Shetland (and I certainly do) you could have a whole island for less than the price of a shoebox in London:

or this for less than the price of a shoe in London:

..though after being for sale for ages, the latter is now under offer.
