This one seems to have been on the market since about 2011 with at least 3 different estate agents - if you look on the street view there is a sign up for another estate agent. Not sure how to post a link to the direct street view of the house.
A few more pics from 2011:

According to Zoopla it last sold in February 2004 for £168,000.

Not my taste personally.
That article has now got me wondering if it ever did get sorted out that the same person owns both the land and the house on the land and the builder got paid for his work. The second bit of stuff that man got up to won't affect present-day people - but the first might (if it hasn't been sorted out).0 -

You can add to that a vertical rear garden, a view in the winter over an industrial area, no view in summer and in spitting distance of an almost motorway-standard road.
Then, well.... it's in Pontypridd!0 -

I wonder if the estate agent was selling it to a mate and trying to put off any other interest...
There's been far, far worse shared on this site before. Apart from the damp and the grim bathroom it's not too bad.0 -

Fascinating stuff!
That hobbit house was obviously far better, but there's not much that can top that!0 -

What an interesting read - thanks for that! A very colourful character with some ideas which where maybe a little ahead of his time. Great way to end a long eccentric life too:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
