Does anyone know how the flooring in pic 3 came to be like this?Moneybagsss wrote: »Its a pattern isn't it? It repeats.....
Though I use the word 'pattern' only in the broadest possible sense of the word, it looks
The duvet has an animal skin draped over it; it doesn't look particularly dirty.
'Investment property' = the agent thinks it's pretty unattractive too!0 -

Dead or Alive:eek:
Pic 2 black cat on back of chair to front left
Pic 3 on dining chair
Pic 9 on bed
I could not consider a house with several cats in previously as have allergy to them. Houses sell better without pet (and tat ) in photos.

It always costs a lot more than you think it will.....

Mine looked like this too in 2015, but my budget was almost realistic.
Maybe if they'd bought a less ostentatious cat-scratching post.......:(
P.S. There's a spot the difference: pics 5 & 70 -

It looks like weirdly patterned carpet that was installed after a fixed/fitted/too heavy cupboard (wardrobe?) was installed.
There is an awful lino layer underneath, visible in the corner on the right side of the chimney breast.
The carpet was brought up to the bottom of the cupboard/wardrobe/display cabinet/larder and that was that until it was time to move out.
The carpet by the heavy thingy with the rectangular footprint ripped the carpet as it was being removed. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
And who would need Google, when you can have the entire collection of Encyclopedia Britanica, pic 8!

The Encyclopedia Britanica was very expensive in its day. Apart from keeping them on bookshelves what do people do with them nowadays? Does anyone have them now? Is there a market for them?0 -

House with a genuine Banksy on the side - though I don't know why the agent didn't take a photo of the best bit of the house!

I've seen much worse, including one where the chap's wife had left and he was completely skint with only one room finished. For some reason, known only to him, in his 'improved' design, the upstairs could only be reached via the conservatory, which was collapsing.....
After the viewing we helped him bump start his van. ("Can't afford a new battery.")
Despite this, he turned down our offer.0 -
