Do you ever look at some of these listings and think.. "jesus christ, that house is flipping stinking" and even though you can't smell it, you can just visualise the smell which gives you the shudders?

It's a bit like one of those magic eye posters...I can see some sort of carpet pattern when I enlarge the photo and squint a bit. Might feel a bit perilous walking on it though.

But I know what ScarletMarble means - it looks like melted/scorched lino. I was starting to wonder if underfloor heating had catastrophically overheated, if such a thing is even possible.
