That's the Spitting Image John Major puppet. There never was any mystery or competition as to who it was.

    Showing my age :(
I thought everyone in Britain would know who that puppet was.
Then I realised it was thirty years ago ..... but the memories live on thxs to youtube.

The ghastly Michael ("Prison works") Howard was educated at Llanelli Grammar skool, & fwiw, is one of the reasons I no longer live in Britain.

Been on the market for a few months now. Caught my eye as I was going past the estate agents on my way to do some shopping. It looks older than it is. I'm also intrigued by the kitchen in the family room.

I think the third bedroom & shower room have been added since the original bungalow was built.

Wonder how many kiddies live here, 5 beds in 2 bedrooms.
Actually a really neat house compared with many on here where maybe less children live.

Scrambled eggs maybe for lunch, & spot the obvious cat

I reckon the family is moving to a bigger house.

Although the colours are a little bright, at least the seller has shown several possible uses for the property.

I'd have table & chairs kitchen end of the lounge and use what's marked as dining room as something else, most likely would be playroom for younger children then convert to 'teens lounge'.

I love the look of this place from the front, and the outbuildings...and the welsh tapestry blanket on the bed in 17!

Turn the outbuildings into holiday cottages........up market of course (for L Laura)
    B & B in the house (Bed & breakfast-Laura!!)

Field for tourers & camping, and maybe a few statics.

Planning permission................probably wouldn't be granted, take a look at the lane on street view!

    One can dream!

There's a caravan site for tourers in the Lake District that a lot of people don't know how it got planning permission as the road to it is steep, windy & narrow.

Not sure if they've made it to google images but I know that a few of the statics provided for people who's homes were flooded in Somerset were taken down narrow tracks, one was inches to spare either side.

Whoosh! That Llanelli connection went right over my head. Now I get why you mentioned him. :o

Rightmove think Llanelli's just down the road from Barnstaple, where my 40mile search radius is based. They forget the Bristol Channel and the fact that most of us don't have helicopters. I pick up a lot of S Wales in my 'Devon' search.
    I should re-centre it.

Major was always depicted as grey and boring in Spitting Image, a satirical programme. His affair with Edwina Currie actually increased his human cred in some people's eyes, although Currie was not popular.

    Here endeth the lesson....:o
I know several people who met him years ago - they all said he was surprisingly charismatic in the flesh and actually quite sexy .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
