There's enough about it for me to love, the sofa on the mezzanine is weird though, but I could live with it.

    Count the oddities!

Modern washbasin, but old-fashioned shower. Circuit breaker board being used as a wall ornament apparently, a right-hand garden fence apparently bang alongside the next door neighbour, tiny bit of odd floorspace by those bannisters on that non-enclosed upstairs room. Have I missed any?

I couldn't though, I just couldn't personally. That first photo of all shows me I'd darn soon start feeling "oppressed" by being surrounded by other buildings "looming" at me. Mind you....I know that because it was one of the reasons I have just sold my last house....ie because I felt "loomed in on" by other buildings which were too near definitely/too high sometimes. That sort of surroundings might make some people feel cosy...but it just made me feel "buried".

You should see the house next door to us. It (and it's matching, adjoining neighbour) is known in our village as the Hobbit House and it makes that one look positively huge :rotfl: It comprises two tiny rooms plus bathroom on the ground floor and one room in the attic space. Unfortunately there are no historic details available online - I searched ;) - must post up a piccie.....

Indeed :D At 9'2 x 6'7 it's a similar size to our utility (crammed with floor standing boiler, washing machine, 5' butler sink unit and loo!) and the blurb does state that the room has potential for a utility or full bathroom. I'm sure when we were FTBs we looked at houses where the third [STRIKE]bedroom[/STRIKE] boxroom was not much larger ;)

For a really grubby property, they have a lot of bottles of shampoo/body wash etc lodged on the bath.....

I'd be more bothered about the fact that it backs onto a gypsy site!!! (see satellite view). Mind you, looking at the front gates, I think it may well be gipsies who are selling it!
