This is a lovely little country cottage ... and it's remarkably cheap0

There's a lot that meets my personal tastes in that one.
I am wondering though about those pillars in the kitchen and they would unnerve me a bit. Even more to the point, there is absolutely NO chance I'd climb up to that "second storey" sofa to sit:eek:0 -

Mmmmmm, think if pushed I'd have to fall into the *hate it* camp, although tbh I'm left feeling quite indifferent.
Curiously as someone that would always choose an older house I don't mind the external appearance, but hate the new looking timbers inside, don't like the kitchen units, the bathrooms need updating (although I do like roll-top baths - we have one - but this one is rather out of place IMHO, being neither an original cast iron jobbie, nor a more current style that would suit the property better), hate *upside-down* living and I'm struggling to find all the character the blurb claims it hasMortgage-free for fourteen years!

I've just noticed the sofa on the mezzanine level in pic 15. Looks very odd there!
I could tell it was in Cornwall without looking at the map. There's lots of these style builds springing up, lots of wood, upside down living etc.0 -
I think I'm in the hate it camp. It just seems an odd mix of styles.0
