Tesco self service tills

Bought alcohol on the self service till and obviously you have to wait for a member of staff to come along and "clear it", I remember being stood for about 15mins waiting for a member of staff who was too busy talking to his work mates and disappearing to go do something else. Terrible service, who'd have a self service till would be like that?
Did you really stand waiting for 15 minutes?:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

I do try to refuse to use them wherever possible as they're only an excuse to cut jobs (and increase profits but not save money for us) - especially when they've got some one yelling at customers to go to them like our local store does which drives me potty - I'm a customer - not some animal to be barked at and herded.
I've experienced this. A stern and firm 'no' seems to work...0
