Ok, I don't have a castle or armies at my command but I can be in Jerusalem in half a day, my life expectancy is probably double his (he died aged 41), I have a computer in my home that can do more in a day what all the mathematicians in England could do in the C12th.

I am cleaner and probably more comfortable. I'm almost certainly in better health than he was at 40 and certainly have better access to healthcare. I have (mis)information at my fingertips thanks to 24 hour news, Fox(Sky) Sports and the Internet.

    So, who is richer.

Not sure, but I do know he was my great great great (oh this is boring x24) grandfather!
30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.

    Gen's not a boomer though. AIUI he's a Gen X'er.

Yup. Generation X. Not sure how much that means TBH except more drugs in my late teens.

Nuts eh? Apparently someone burst in and attached it and left. I hope she's ok.

i thought it would be you, because of the strength of the AUS$.

then i remembered king richard's preaching that fractional reserve banking is a fraud, and that all fiat currencies will all fail. king richard is entirely invested in silver and gold. gold has increased in value by 7,000,000,000% since he bought in during the late C12th, so i think he wins.

I've never been portrayed by Sean Connery.

That's one in the net for Richard I.

If you follow this train of thought to the end one comes to the conclusion that all people are equal and wealth is an illusion.

    What does that mean

    Google "selfish boomer".
It won't take you long to get up to speed.

We was more famous than you'll ever be. 800 years after you're dead, no one will give a toss.

So another one up for Rich I
