Morph3us, that's what i did for my fiance's 21st this year, a week in Prague - it was great!! He didn't know what he wanted, and it was perfect!!
Is she a drinker? A bottle of bubbly is always appreciated!
Jewelery is nice, but don't buy anything saying '21' cos they've got limited wearing potential (I got the most gorgeous necklace on my 18th which said 'Happy 18th' but I only wore it a couple of times)
I find one of the nicest gifts to give is a lovely photoframe with a pic of me and the person in. Photoframes can be quite cheap as well. And it shows some real thought has gone into the gift.0 -
Hi,
I've been racking my brains for weeks on what to buy my nephew for his 21st birthday. I'm afraid it has to be around £10 to £15, so it really limits what we can buy him.
A neices birthday always seem to be easy with buying earrings or something pretty....but for my nephew I'm totally stumped.
I would like something a little different if anyone has some bright idea.?
My husband isn't exactly helping the matter while I have a panic on (his birthday is tomorrow  )..coming up with some brilliant suggestions like a cruise, a new car etc....I think I might just throttle him.
Has anyone got any ideas? I would really appreciate your help.0 -
been trying to think of a decent reply for you, seen as you don't have any yet! what about a bottle of something, and some shot glasses?A set of poker chips/a t-shirt from TK Maxx,magnetoids/zoids,headtorch,penknife.A bong! Whats he into?
(edit.not being rude to previous suggestions, wrote this only in reply to above post, before threads merged!)0 -
For my daughters 18th, I did a huge party with photos of her from birth to 18. As a special pressie, just for fun I bought her some Bacardi Breezer labels with "Happy 18th Caroline" on them. They are just like the real thing, and you stick them over the bottle label. Can't remember the company, but they are on E Bay. Just put in "personilized drinks labels" and you should get what you want. They also do Gin, Whiskey and Champagne bottle labels.I Believe in saving money!!!:T
A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!0 -
Thanks Peakma......uuummm whats a bong?
Hes very into his computer and photography, thats about all really.
Hes not a big music listener or into drinking (but the shot glass idea would be good for another nephew of mine so thank you for that)0 -
Go for the trip every time if you can afford it - it's special because you've gone to the trouble of booking it and it will be the only romantic rather than material present she gets. No matter if it's planned to be months away, that will only build up the suspense. My boyfriend bought us cheap flights to Venice and found a great deal on a very fancy hotel. He gave me the brochure on my birthday for the hotel and it was seriously the most romantic and thoughtful gift ever. I paid for my own flight (or something like that, we did it so I paid something towards it) and it was the best holiday I've ever had. Only a couple of days but that made it all the more charming really. You don't even need to go far - I took him to London and to a London comedy musical thing and we had a great time then too. It's just the fact that you've planned it rather than just going into a shop and buying something straight off the shelf. Memories are better than bracelets imo
Whatever you get her though, it's great to see you're taking time to think, so it's bound to be special!0 -
What about some photography paper,or iron on transfer paper, and a plain t-shirt? So he can design some for himself.(er a bong was a naughty suggestion! its a water pipe fore smoking weed with!!)0

oops
just shows how innocent I am lol:rotfl:
thanks for your help...I think i might go with the t shirt idea...thank you.0 -
Yeah I think lads appreciate T shirts. If you don't know him too well go for something like blue or brown some lads are not v inventive in choice of colours.
My bf got me an ipod and put songs on it for me. That was really sweet.0 -
