The Matrix - Re-Evolution!!

:rotfl:Woohooo it is - the week is nearly over:rotfl:
In my defence - Monday was an INSET training day here so school didn't actually begin until Tuesday - so I have lost a day.
Greenbee - the contract is a mickey take, but he did make me laugh and realise that I have nothing to lose but a mortgage (which is not a bad downside)
Last night the Mentors asked me some really interesting stuff - and I have made some realisations.
The people in my life I most like hanging out with are the matrixettes - ladies just like me.
And that I love to write about are issues that relate to me (write what you know)
The people that most support me (often in a bahookie kicking mode are the matrixettes)
The people I would want to help to succeed the most are the matrixettes.
................. there's a theme building.
So I have emailed the "Funny Barrister" back to say

:j:j:j Great times MG! A couple of my favourite quotes which for me sum up the excitement (and butterflies) of fully committing to new challenges. We're all here for you!
'Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!'
~ Goethe
“Come to the edge.”
“We can't. We're afraid.”
“Come to the edge.”
“We can't. We will fall!”
“Come to the edge.”
And they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.
~ ApollinaireIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

So sorry to hear your news Claire.
Off to the midwife this morning - could I please ask for some low blood pressure vibes at around 10am? Very nervous...0 -
Sorry to read your news Claire
Won't worrying about your blood pressure make it higher Winnie...? I get awful white-coat-blood-pressure, he sends me home with a machine to test it myself now, and usually it's just about ok, compared to the phone number style blood pressure I manage at the Dr's!
I met up with my friend last night - she's just brought her new baby home from hospital, so I was invited for a cup of tea and a cuddle - well mainly a cuddle, let's be honest! The cheeky little cherub burped in my face and then fell asleep on my tummy! (reminds me of a boyfriend I had once....!) Cute. Still don't want one of my own though0 -
GQ, great quotes. I needed something like that today as I am at the bottom of the change curve right now.
In honour of Cheery (hope you are having a good holiday) here is my challenge quote
“Challenge is a dragon with a gift in its mouth. Tame the dragon and the gift is yours.”Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
So funny about your friend's baby TMIF, I have a friend with a lovely second baby - our first children are the same age, and I'm surprising myself at how lovely it is to cuddle friends' babies but I'm pretty sure now I wouldn't want a sibling for DD, partly because of being in love with a man who cannot physically help out, partly due to my own health and partly because I'm scared that I'd be on my own again, trust and all that.....
Anyway......my friend's baby is so gorgeous, and she loves cuddles with Aunty Kittikins as she always settles down and fall asleep on my rather voluptuous chest, unlike on her beloved mummy who is less well-endowed than me. My friend jokes that she should have me on speed dial in the middle of the night when the little one is bawling her head off, as obviously I have the tools to calm her down!!0 -

Three times I have tried to post and have lost the post each time arrgghhh
Can I have positive vibes today my ikkle cat comes out of his op and home again? he is being castrated, the hope rescue team said if we want to be in with a chance to have Layla the cat had to be done. My lovely neighbour took him this morning for me.
So please positive vibes, as I don't think DS2 will cope if anything happens after jack and yesterday. He treats the cat like a baby
Suppose I had better empty the case and get clothes all put away before they get creased againBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Aww bless him Claire - he'll be sore for a day or two! My Boycat was grumpy for about a week after - I think he missed his crown jewels!!!!0
