So funny about your friend's baby TMIF, I have a friend with a lovely second baby - our first children are the same age, and I'm surprising myself at how lovely it is to cuddle friends' babies but I'm pretty sure now I wouldn't want a sibling for DD, partly because of being in love with a man who cannot physically help out, partly due to my own health and partly because I'm scared that I'd be on my own again, trust and all that.....

Anyway......my friend's baby is so gorgeous, and she loves cuddles with Aunty Kittikins as she always settles down and fall asleep on my rather voluptuous chest, unlike on her beloved mummy who is less well-endowed than me. My friend jokes that she should have me on speed dial in the middle of the night when the little one is bawling her head off, as obviously I have the tools to calm her down!!

I love cuddling babies, they always fall asleep on me, and it's quite relaxing really. I don't even mind babysitting or having them for the weekend. I should start a business where I go round to people's houses and cuddle their babies for an hour while they have a nice bath and pamper lol.

...but I don't want one! Don't feel grown up and responsible enough. HATE the thought of being pregnant, terrified of the getting it out process (I'd have to have a caesarian lol!)

If he's that nervous can you sent him around here :D

PS Getting the hang of being a mum of kids at school again. Its lovely to have all the chores done before the school run and then come back to work. I love my DS1 - but I think I now realise how much effort it takes to home-school a very curious 11 year old.

Feel quite sad at the moment, just done the very last cleaning of the old ladie's house as they complete on the sale tommorow. I'm glad for her family that they at last have closure but it's made me feel quite reflevtive to oversee the dismantling of someone's much loved home.

Time now to get mine organized!

  • Next week I am on holiday. :j:j

    !!!!!! is at work Mon-Thurs.

During those 4 days I will empty, sort through, and repack the contents of the cupboard of doom. I will also take all the rejected items to the tip/Charity Shop as appropriate

I will apply the 6 month rule harshly (except to my craft items). (I.e. if I've not used it for 6 months it goes)

No more will I need to fear for my life opening the door - wondering if things will topple down on my head.

I will post progress photos. If I do not do this, I will need prodding.

    Please do so xx

Wow MG, are the Scottish bairns back already? That seems very early. They don't go back round these parts for at least another fortnight.

Also, any chance of you posting your funny mock-Latin challenge on t'other side...I feel that it would very much appeal to my sense of humour. :)

Had a mega lie-in this morning as tired after yesterday, plus a few glasses of sparkling rose last night. ;)

Am about to get dressed and dispose of my clutter at a charity shop. :T

MG that was me cleaning not DS1, dont' be daft.

He is pleased with his results. They are AS and he got A in Geography, B in History and C in English Lit. English Lit he did well in the coursework but not so in the paper (that is what he said when he came out of the exam too) so he can resit that paper. He is more pleased that his golf handicap has been reduced this week twice - it was 12.6 and is now 9.3, that is where most of his effort has been placed!

Time for a cuppa and some more kitchen cleaning.

I love MSE! My on going battle with the catolgue company is resolved:jthey removed half of the charges and offered a F+F settlement figure, £60 higher than I wanted but I accepted and have just paid:j:j:jThe only debts I have left now are on my DMP and that's going fine.
I couldn't have done it without here.

Great set of results for DS Dustykitten!

It took me 11 years to come around to the idea of doing it again! I think they make pregnancy so rubbish so the idea of "getting it out" (:rotfl:) seems less painful!
  • If I was in charge of designing people - I would use the Kangaroo method... i.e. pop out a little pink grub, and let said little grub live in nice pouch (or airing cupboard) until it was old enough to get a job!
