Its for buttons, the tubes that came down have gone brown with wear, I have had one soaking in bleach to see what happens, hasn't changed colour.
Will pop to the £1 shop and get some steredent, is that false teeth stuff?
Yep! And agree with MG - it cleans everything including dishwashers (and much cheaper than the stuff they sell specially). We also use it to clean our coffee machine.

Very considerate, my dear. Though, can't kick for toffee at the moment. I am starting work on Thursday, 18th - have a rranged that we will all get four hours after lunch for working, reading and generally doing what each of us wants. Have completely forgotten how to survive on the Continent - people generally have less space so no nice and cosy study. Jane Austin type kitchen table for me!

We were in a beautiful fishing village on Sunday and I was looking at the old fishermen's 2up 2down cottages - they were tiny, seriously small; made our 70's mews version look like a mansion :rotfl:. Seriously I'm the smallest of us at 5'7", 4 of us wouldn't compute in a fisherman's cottage.
I found it so sad that so many have been purchased as second holiday homes, these cottages should ideally be first-time buyers homes for our young people but houses are now silly money and our young folk don't stand a prayer.0 -
