Its for buttons, the tubes that came down have gone brown with wear, I have had one soaking in bleach to see what happens, hasn't changed colour.

Will pop to the £1 shop and get some steredent, is that false teeth stuff?

Yep! And agree with MG - it cleans everything including dishwashers (and much cheaper than the stuff they sell specially). We also use it to clean our coffee machine.

But I have done my MIT - written up ten articles for he next project - wouldn't want FW getting her leg damaged by kicking me :rotfl:

Very considerate, my dear. Though, can't kick for toffee at the moment. I am starting work on Thursday, 18th - have a rranged that we will all get four hours after lunch for working, reading and generally doing what each of us wants. Have completely forgotten how to survive on the Continent - people generally have less space so no nice and cosy study. Jane Austin type kitchen table for me!

  • We were in a beautiful fishing village on Sunday and I was looking at the old fishermen's 2up 2down cottages - they were tiny, seriously small; made our 70's mews version look like a mansion :rotfl:. Seriously I'm the smallest of us at 5'7", 4 of us wouldn't compute in a fisherman's cottage.

I found it so sad that so many have been purchased as second holiday homes, these cottages should ideally be first-time buyers homes for our young people but houses are now silly money and our young folk don't stand a prayer.
