Slowly getting the hang of this techie stuff:rotfl:
MG
With me it is not a matter of working it out but a fundamental assumption - things are not working it is not that I can't work them. But getting more techie helps as well.

Not actually true! But it sounds good...Firewalker wrote: »He found that someone in Austria has been trying to hack his server and this person was blacklisted; and the server is back up.
There is actually plenty of capacity on the server and it can be upgraded in a moment as necessary. The issue was someone trying repeatedly to hit it and run non-existent programs. I have now blacked that IP. Sorry for anyone in Vienna:)0 -
Oooooohhh!!! Stand by your beds ladies
Mr F is in the room:rotfl::rotfl:
Suppose if its working I should go and do the healthy eating blog instead of enjoying myself cutting out clothes for DS2.

Hi ladies – I’ve caught up as best I can, so here goes:
Gemmzie: hope things settle down a bit for you soon. x
Fantasia: good to have you back. Keep coming back, even if it’s just to keep a bit of sanity and help you focus on other things. x
Kittikins: positive vibes wiggling their way to you for 3pm. x
Willow92: I’m sorry about your dog. It’s awful when they go. They really do leave a big hole in your life. x
Firewalker: nice to see you back! J Have learnt the following: check tyres before setting off and leave even more emergency time than you would think to get to interview; NEVER EVER trust a sat nat.
Marru: Have a lovely holiday – not jealous in the slightest!
Kittikins: Good luck with appointment – positive vibes a-wigglin' in your direction, too.
Bee of green: A cousin of mine (a nurse) recommended drinking pure orange juice when taking iron suppliments in order to increase the uptake of iron. Not sure if you had heard about that one. J
On a positive note, I'm pleased to see dark chocolate is rich in iron
I’m not sure I am!
As for the book challenge…5 isn’t many…but it’s books! *wibbles*
In further news: am quite proud of myself: I spent much of yesterday cleaning up my room and despite not intentions for too much decluttering, I’ve managed to throw out bagsnbagsnbags of stuff.I just need to do the 5 book thing, and keep going, and I’ll be fine (eventually).
In having a root through my clothes, though, I did discover one stunning expensive dress (back from the days of working in stunning expensive clothes shop and getting a stupidly good discount) that I didn’t even realise I had!
I need to organise more paperwork today (my weekend task), and then
sort out more work things. And drop those 2 pairs of shoes to the dress agency. And the stuff to the charity shop. And probably lots of other things
I’ve forgotten, but that’s not too shoddy a start.
Oh yes, must do research for SSs (Super Secret Squirrel) stuff and practice music.
That’ll do for now.
Have a nice day, everyone! :cool:0 -

I'm a book person too and I was very sad to let some go for 50p yesterday but the market for 2nd hand books is just rubbish. I've decided to donate all the ones I have left to either the school library or the children's ward at the hospital (all teen genre books). No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Mr FW ... While you are here I think there are some PMs for you... Or if not, a couple of people looking for you on the thread who want some help
SunFlower - thanks... I usually drink apple juice as fits better with my local/seasonal ethos, but I might try orange for a change.
Have to spent the next 90 minutes on some very dull training which I expect not to take in at all...0 -
